Spring has Sprung!

It's that time of year...picking strawberries at our local farmer's market. We had a wonderful time, and the boys had their fill of the delicious sun-ripened berries! Joseph had a grand total of 2 strawberries in his bucket, and about a pound and a half in his tummy. We had lots of fun!

The Hunt for Missing Objects

As I rifled through my kitchen drawers, looking desperately for my potato peeler, I noticed it was missing, along with my can opener, my cheese grater, my spatula, and my whisk.

Hmmmm....it was time to go on gadget hunt.

The potato peeler, the can opener, and the whisk was in Joseph's underwear and sock drawer. Of course. Where else would they be?

The cheese grater? On the back of the toilet. I've found other things there, but never the cheese grater. I'm not gonna ask why, I'm just gonna toss it, and buy a new one during my next WalMart adventure, along with a drawer lock. Some things a mother just doesn't want to know.

It's Rodeo Time!!!

Yesterday was such a beautiful day...we saddled up, and headed out to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo! We rode rides, we saw lots of animals, and ate lots of things on a stick!!! I have such fond memories of going to the rodeo as a child, and it was such fun to pass this on to my children. What a blast!

Our 10th wedding anniversary!

Our tenth wedding anniversary was celebrated in the Hill Country. We spend 4 glorious days in Fredericksburg, at a bed and breakfast on 40 acres. Our cabin was built in 1860. We fished, slept, ate wonderful German food, and had a mini second honeymoon. It was pure bliss! I became fast friends with a hammock. We were inseperable the entire trip... : )

My baby boy is three!!!

It's hard to believe that three years ago today, our lives were blessed with Joseph Elliott! He's such a joy, and he keeps us laughing (and on our toes!) constantly. Happy birthday, little man!
