Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a lovely day at our good friend's bed and breakfast. The boys, along with my niece Chloe, had a blast playing on many, many acres of unexplored woods. Hard to believe Christmas is right around the corner!

This week, Jacob learned all about how to participate in a flag ceremony. They had their ceremony at his school. It was touching to see him saluting the flag as it was raised. He's so darned cute! ;-)

Jacob was Obewan Kanobe (I have no idea if I spelled that correctly) and Joseph was a cowboy. We had lots of fun, and lots of candy! I went as an overworked mother of 2.

I received a new camera for my birthday, and thought I'd test it out on the boys. Obviously I need to work on the zoom thingie.

R.I.P.

Today, Jacob told me that he knew what the R.I.P stood for on gravestones. "They say R.I.P so that people know not to rip them off, and steal them."
